Yer_Man: Due to various logs regarding the bad terrain accessing this cache, I have decided to permanently remove it from these woods... BUT... it will re-appear... somewhere else in due course!

Geocache Description:

Curtlestown Woods is part of the Wicklow Way route and is frequented by many hillwalkers as well as occasional Sunday strollers and dog walkers. It is enjoyed by families also for a ramble and indeed for summer picnics.

I have decided to split the caches into the two separate forests, therefore this trail which provisionally is planned being titled as "Curtlestown Woods is currently 5 Kilometres.

GZ is a tall dead tree with no branches on it. more like a big stump actually. The cache container used to be an Malaysian moneybox, made from a length of Bamboo, which I modified into a cool cache

The area is maintained by the National Forestry Comission Coillite and the cache is placed in line with their "Leave No Trace" principle.
