Geocache Description:

.......... and we're back in Devon!

Although we are from the North East we have been visiting the beautiful village of Broadhembury regularly now for nearly 14 years because of a family connection.

We have come to love this lovely Devon village tucked away to the south of the Blackdowns Hills and now regard this village as our “adopted village” and “our home away from home.”

We have seen many changes in the last 14 years with friends we knew who have unfortunately passed away or moved from the village and new friends who have moved in.

We hosted our 1st Geocaching event in the village in 2011 and it was a "rip roaring success". So due to repeated requests we hosted another in 2012 and again in 2013. We ended up hosting two in 2014. We think it's getting a bit of an enjoyable habit!

Therefore we're hosting our first event of 2015 hopefully keep the tradition going. Unfortunately due to other commitment we couldn’t host the event over the Easter Weekend so sorry...

We even have a Multi cache in the village! How about trying it when you come over?

So this is chance for everyone to shrug off the workday blues and relax on a Wednesday evening with a drink and with caching friends or even meet new ones!

It's chance to meet greet and chat over all the caches you can’t find or don’t know where to place or even swap coin numbers.

We will be in the Drewe Arms (hopefully in the Beer Garden if he weather in nice!) on Wednesday 8th April from about 6.00pm till about 9.00pm or until we leave (if you want to stay a bit longer we don’t mind as we don’t have far to stagger especially if there’s any Tricky left!)... so pop in and have a drink and a natter with us.

We might even let you know the name of the elephant in the tree! You’ll have to see Can you do the Broadhembury Bimble? (GC2DQGE) for that one!

The Drewe Arms does serve award winning food. A menu is available till 8.45pm . You won't be disappointed we can assure you that! The current Menu can be found at this link:

Daniel and Kate our hosts, would like an indication of numbers who might eat, so please mention this in your " will attend" log and we will contact the venue for you on the 6th April and let them know final numbers for people wanting to eat. (We'll use it as an excuse to go to the pub anyway!).

Ooh We should point out that Dogs are welcome in the garden. Ooh Rena & Allan and Daisy I’m going to ask especially for you if the Geo-Dogs can come inside (sorry forgot to ask Dan and Kate will call them again).

See you all there The Lambs @ 9
