The old depot is probably more likely to be bull dozed than saved and restored. The UP spur that lies on or near the old TMRR line and that ran close to the station now lies on the other side of the new Hwy 34 bridge. If you cross the new bridge you will never know you passed the depot since it is now almost directly under the overpass. If you are travelling you will want to visit the Texas Midland Passenger Car while you are in Terrell. This depot is similar to other simple depots built by the Texas Midland Railroad. The Commerce, Texas station is quite similar.
The original cache container disappeared. Oh well, nice experiment. New cache is very close to the original.
You will not have to get close to the dilapidated structure and it may be unsafe to do so. I would view from a distance and take a few pics while this building still stands.
