Here is another contribution to the Montrose List series of mystery caches. The caches were initially placed along the Montrose Trail but now, like this one, they are also along the East West Trail. If you start at the end of Montrose Road the return walk to this cache is about 12 km and will take several hours. Getting there involves mostly a steady climb - starting altitude is about 140 m, maximum altitude reached is about 700 m.
The following is an alphabetically arranged list of a few native plants that occur on "The Mountain". If you were to sit next to one of the several waterholes along the trail (on a still day) you might see relections of some of them.
