The I-275 Bike Trail now uses Meadowbrook Road to connect the section further to the north to that along of M-5. As with the other sections, I am naming them after defunct bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after Univega. Univega is a brand of bicycles created in the 1970s. Initially it imported bicycles manufactured in Italy by Italvega and subsequently in Japan by Miyata. In 1996 the parent company of Raleigh Bicycle Company, Derby Cycle, absorbed Univega.
