If someone would like to leave a vehicle at the Given Road lot to shuttle those NOT wishing to do the full circuit hike back to Stephen's Park, please do so. ( Please post notes on the cache page to organize this yourselve's ) otherwise, we will hike back. I have never hiked this trail, but after reading cache logs, Folks say it's pretty flat with a moderate hill at the end. So I'm going to rate this hike a 3 due to length.
If you enjoy wildflowers, You may wanna bring a camera as I'm pretty sure there will be some showing off for us. From what I understand, this is a very popular trail and very well maintained, so as usual I'm going to recommend Hiking boots or hiking shoes. Note, this is PEAK STORM SEASON, if Threatning Weather is forcasted, we may cancel or shorten the hike. Please check the cache page prior to driving out here.
Use your own judgment on drinks / snacks. Our Next hike will be in S. E. Indiana on a Thursday Night. Probably May 7th. Details have not been finalized yet so Stay Tuned.
