Draco is for the most part a “nice-guy” dragon depicted in the movie Dragonheart. He’s named after the constellation Draco and (spoiler alert!) does ascend there when he dies because that is considered heaven for dragons.
In the movie, Draco teams up with Bowen, an English knight, to stage “dragon-slayings” and thereby con local villagers into paying hefty fees in appreciation. After that con is exposed Bowen and Draco are eventually persuaded to help bring down Einon, a tyrannical king whose damaged heart was actually replaced with part of Draco’s heart thereby making him immortal, but only as long as Draco lives.
There’s much more to the story, but I’ll let you watch the movie to find out about that.
