Geocache Description:

Traditional urban cache in Fessenden neighborhood. Located by a new storm overflow pond within sight of some homes, including an apartment building, so stealth is necessary. Cache is a well-hidden bison tube. Please re-hide as found.

Fessenden neighborhood sprouted up in the 1970's and is named after Clementina Trenholme Fessenden, mother of Radio Pioneer Reginald Fessenden. The area was farmland for many years prior to that. Cache is located in a busy neighborhood park, but is in an area where privacy is possible.

The new storm overflow pond will help with some flooding that has been happening in the neighbourhood, but will likely come with an increase in the local mosquito population. We have therefore named this pond "Fessenden Mosquito Pond".

Please bring your own pen to sign the log.

Congratulations to FreeSpirited1, alli-oop and rogking teambruce0 (Team FART) for the FTF.
