*** AL LAND STEWARDSHIP TRAIL _ WILD THINGS AMONG US***
This is one of 8 new caches placed to Introduce Geocaching, on March 28, 2015, to potentially new cachers here at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center in cooperation with the Cable Natural History Museum and sponsored by the Friends of the Center.
Park at one of 2 locations: The County Hwy G parking lot is not plowed in the winter. The cache is winter friendly but not the parking area. All Season Parking at the NGLVC is from 9 am to 5 pm daily. The main gate closes at 5 pm.
Located near Stops #12 and #13 of the trail. In part of a dead snag within parts of a live tree near the trail. Winter Friendly micro-small sized container.
Stewardship of our woodlands, wetlands, and meadows is largely motivated by the benefits healthier habitats offer wildlife. No dollar sign could be placed on the joy and companionship wild things give back.
“There are those who can live without wild things and those who cannot. These essays are the delights and dilemmas of one who cannot.” Aldo Leopold
The logbook must be signed, otherwise there is no proof of your success. BYOP
