Le Tour De Mindarie - Mountain Top Finish Traditional Cache

This mini-series brings you three caches representing some of the key disciplines in road bike stage racing. If you can negotiate all three without crashing you will have enough info to climb on top of the podium and find the finale. All three are camo'ed mint tins in straightforward locations. Collect the info contained and you might win a Grand Tour.

This cache is near the top of Le Col De Mindarie. In Grand Tours, some of the biggest time gains over your opponents are to be had when the roads turn upwards and finish at the summits of mountains in the Alps, Pyrenees or Dolomites. These stages favour the ultra-light "climbers" who will attack without mercy with a few kilometres to go and try to distance their rivals which often makes for spectacular racing. If you want to win a Grand Tour, you have to be able to climb with the best.
