Miejsce, gdzie styka się Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna i miejska sieć tramwajowa jest tuż poniżej. Planowany start zarówno pociągów, jak i tramwajów na tej trasie to w tej chwili wrzesień 2015 r. Przystanek nazywa się Gdańsk Brętowo i od września co 15 minut będzie można tu zobaczyć pociągi zatrzymujące się na trasie z Wrzeszcza na lotnisko.
Kolej w tym miejscu nie jest nowa, już w 1914 r. istniała tu linia kolejowa na trasie Gdańsk Wrzeszcz - Stara Piła. 26 marca 1945 r. na głównych wiaduktach linii Niemcy ustawili parowozy, a następnie wysadzili je w powietrze. Od tego czasu linia nie była przejezdna, a z czasem została zdemontowana.
Nowy projekt stacji uwzględnia charakterystyczne dla PKM czerwone zadaszenie, a każda ze stacji ma wkomponowany w ścianę zadaszenia kolejny numer.

A place, where Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway will connect to the city tram network is just below. It is planned that the trains and trams start service on that route in September 2015. The stop is called Gdańsk Brętowo and from September you will be able to see trains stopping here on a way back and forth from Wrzeszcz to the airport.
Trains in this place aren't a new thing, in 1914 there was a rail line from Gdańsk Wrzeszcz to Stara Piła here. On March 26, 1945 on main viaducts of the line steam locomotives were stopped and then blown up by the retreating Germans. From this day, the line stopped being passable and later was demolished.
New station design incorporates red roof that is characteristic for PKM (the line) and each of the stations has a consecutive number inserted into a wall of the roof.
