Geocache Description:

The second of a series of caches that are located near each of the apartments I have lived in since moving here to NYC.

This cache is found in J. Hood Wright Park, a nice little park next to my first apartment. I used to walk my dog here every day and I thought it would be a perfect place to hide a cache. Feel free to walk around and look at the George Washington Bridge from one of the most scenic angles, and walk a few blocks to the historic United Palace Theatre or get some of the best Central American cusine from any number of resturants in the area.

Enjoy Washington Heights on your way to the Hudson River Greenway, as there is a walkway across the Westside highway on the northwest side of the park.

The cache is a log only micro, so BYOP. It is a non-standard but fairly common container, and not to hard to spot if you know what you are looking for. The NYC Parks department (unknowingly) helped this one out by adding their own camo, so it blends in remarkably well. This is a VERY high Muggle area, especially in the summer, and when to school across the street gets out. I bumped up the difficulty a bit because of it. Stealth is priority number one!

Congrats to B2Pi on the FTF!
