Geocache Description:

An extension to our Danes wood series for those who'd like a longer walk

For full details and parking see 1) Danes wood - log it. Added a few extra caches for an optional longer walk. Caches 6-8 are across the lane from the bottom corner of Danes wood and take you on a less well known but interesting little walk through Broadley copse and beyond (some beautiful snow drops and Bluebells to be seen in season).

GPS signal gets confused by tree cover so co-ordinates may be a little out (which I think adds to the fun of woodland caching!) but if this is a frustration I've added some clear hints.To reach this cache follow the main path from the wooden gates into the wood. You'll need to detour on a secondary path for a short distance towards the cache... When you've found it retrace your steps to the main path to continue! Thanks to the National Trust for their permission to place this cache.
