La cache se trouve sur le site de ce grand pont de la Rivière Potiche dans la commune de Grand Rivière au Nord Atlantique MARTINIQUE
LE SITE :
A 61 km de Fort de France, à l'extrême nord de l'île, ce village perdu, implanté au milieu d'une minuscule plaine côtière, a des allures de bout du monde. On y accède par une seule route étroite et sinueuse tracée à flanc de montagne, côté Atlantique. Nulle part la nature n'apparaît définitivement domestiquée. La route sillonne à travers la forêt tropicale et les parois qui la surplombent doivent être régulièrement renforcées pour éviter les éboulements. Les deux ponts en fer qui enjambent les rivières en provenance de la Montagne Pelée indiquent que la descente vers Grand Rivière est proche.
Lorsqu'on arrive à Grand' Rivière en Martinique, on est toujours impressionné par ce pont métallique qui domine la Rivière Potiche. Long de 67m et haut de 57m, c'est le plus grand pont de Martinique. Depuis 1963, il relie la commune au reste de l'île. Un second pont du même style mais plus petit passe la Grand-Rivière.
LA CACHE :
La cache se trouve à la sortie du Grand Pont si vous venez de Basse Pointe, et à l'entrée en venant de Grand Rivière. Un petit parking se trouve à droite du Pont si vous venez de Grand Rivière. D'ailleurs pour des raisons de sécurité, il sera préférable de faire cette cache au retour de Grand Riviere. La cache est un CAMO Magnetique de petite taille avec seulement le Log. Munissez vous alors d'un crayon. Prenez votre sécurité et soyez discret lors de sa recherche. Veuillez bien la placez à son endroit d'origine.
