That sure is a nice geopile Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

igator210: Going to let this one go.

This was my first placed geocache, and it almost made it two years. I placed it in response to a challenge by Sapience Trek. But, the area has changed a bit since I placed it. A year ago, half the tree the cache was hidden in fell over and recently, farmers have been actively changing the geopile. The site has become a lot more active.

I've also learned, once a spot gets muggled, its hard to keep a cache there.

So, thanks to all that came out to this one. I picked everything up today.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

We've all seen them, the tell-tale pile of sticks and stones that says something must be hidden here. Sometimes we are right. Sometimes we get to focused on where we think the cache should be and miss where it actually is.

This is a public park. While the gate is never closed, officially the park is only open from dawn to dusk. You can stay on the trails till the last 50 feet or so.

Always be safe while caching. No cache is worth getting hurt over. You should be able to open the cache without removing it from its hiding spot.
