Atlanta Area Geocachers: Can't Stop the Signal -- 15 Years of Geocaching!

When: Noon-1 p.m. Saturday, May 2.
Event: Come join your fellow cachers for an eat and greet (purchase of food is not required). Swap stories, numbers and bring those puzzles that are giving you a hard time. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones. If you think you might go, make sure you log a note saying "Will Attend" so we can have a good head count for the event and you can be updated on any announcements we might make.
Bonus: Find a geocache or attend an event on May 2 or 3 and you will receive a digital souvenir on your Geocaching profile.
History: On May 2, 2000, GPS signals were descrambled, increasing the accuracy of GPS devices worldwide by ten times. The following day, what would become known as the first geocache was hidden.
