The cache is in an area with fine views of the nearby volcanoes and countryside. The quarry is still working but the picturesque views are of a part of the quarry that has been long abandoned.
The cache is located near to an abandoned farmstead and an abandoned area of a working quarry.
You can drive to the cache over an off road track that does not require a 4X4 vehicle.
Alternatively it can be managed via a very pleasant walk from La Capellania. From the trailhead follow the path to the two nearby caches and keep walking. Continue through the gap in the wall and bear left, turn left when you reach the drivable track.
The terrain rating is obviously based on the walking route.
The cache is suitable for children under supervision and a minimum of stoutly soled trainers are recommended. Walking shoes are even better.
As with all walking in Fuerteventura, because of the rocky terrain, ALWAYS look where you place your feet, if you wish to admire the scenery, stop walking and plant your feet securely.
Please ensure that the cache is replaced exactly where found, the lid is secured and the cache is covered by the rocks.
