SWAPS are Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere. Girls go to events all over and swap with other girls which allows them to met new girls and make new friends. Our troop even trades with girls online to get some from other states and learn about different areas. Even though most GS SWAPS are a crafty kinda thing that the girls make on their own, SWAPS can be anything just put ur name and where you are from on it so people can met you. So we made a cache that is full of SWAPS!! In Gallery is a picture of some SWAPS we included!
We started the cache with SWAPS we collected both in DC for the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in 2012 and online trading with troops all over. In the cache, we have SWAPS from Minnesota, Illinois, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Texas, Iowa, Arizona, Florida, Arkansas, etc. The FTF will find a patch we collected in 2012 to commerate our Girl Scout 100th Anniversary.
