*Es un promesa, pequeño dragón.
- que es una promesa?
* Imagina que tienes una vela que se está apagando y deseas por todo en el mundo que esa vela no se consuma y haces todo lo posible para que no se extinga.
- y que has prometido?
* De eso hace ya mucho tiempo, tu estabas muy enfermo y toda la familia y amigos estábamos muy preocupados por ti, no teníamos muchas opciones y tuve que darte algo muy importante para que te pusieras bueno.
- Yo estuve enfermo papá?
* Si hijo, mucho pero ahora eres un dragón fuerte y sano, es el momento de cumplir la promesa juntos.
- y por que vamos los dos juntos?
* En su momento, yo te ayudé a recuperar tu luz, ahora es mi luz la que se apaga y por eso compartimos, este camino juntos.
- me parece bien Papá, ya me siento mejor, me has dado fuerzas y me curaste mis heridas, quiero continuar. *Así me gusta hijo que seas un luchador.
-Papá, y si yo hago una promesa, que debo cumplir?
*Debes de ser fiel a la razón y al honor, no mientas, no robes, engañes o hagas daño para conseguir tus metas.
-Papá cuando crezca quiero ser como tu, y cumplir con todo eso por que para mi eres perfecto.
* No lo soy, hijo mío y el ser humano se equivoca una y otra vez, lo importante es saber rectificar y no volver a caer en la misma piedra. Así que intenta hacer lo correcto en todo lo que hagas.
- Creo que ya lo entiendo Padre, voy a crecer dando fuerza en mi luz y lo que me rodea; he intentar iluminar al resto, sin que me apaguen a mi y para ayudarme, pensaré en cada momento en lo que me has dicho en este camino y lo guardaré entre mis recuerdos, muy bien protegido, como el mejor tesoro.
- Muy bien hijo, ya estamos llegando, como puedes ver has sido capaz una vez más.
*Tienes razón papá, me siento feliz y orgulloso a tu lado una vez más...
Esta fue la conversación que tuvieron dos seres queridos durante el camino, y aquí dejaron escrito sus recuerdos y sus promesas.
Su hijo nunca volvió a andar con su padre, pero volvió al mismo sitio donde mantuvo la conversación y dejo una piedra que recogiera en el camino, en ella escribió el nombre de su padre y la promesa que siempre cumplió.

-What is a promise?
*Imagine you have a candle that is getting weaker and you wish more than anything in the world for that light not to extinguish.
- And what did you promise?
* A long time ago you were very ill and all your friends and family were very concerned about you and there were not many options; I had give something very importante in order for you to get better.
- I was ill daddy?
*Yes, my son. However now you are a strong healthy dragon and the time has now arrived for us to fulfill our promise together.
- And why is it we both have to go together?
*At the time, I helped you recover your light but now it is my light that is going out and for that reason we shall now share this journey together.
- I feel great daddy, I feel better, you gave me strength and my wounds have healed, let’s continue.
*What I love about you son is that you are a fighter.
- Daddy, if I make a promise do I have to follow with it?
* You must be faithful to your reason and honour, you must not lie, steal, cheat or hurt anyone to reach your goals.
- Daddy, when I grow up I want to be just like you, because to me you are perfect.
* My son i'm not, the human beings make mistakes over and over again. What is important is not to fall over on the same trap and learn from your mistakes, just do the right thing in everything you do.
- I think I understand daddy, I will grow strongly giving my light to my surroundings; I’ll try to enlighten the rest without dimming. To help me I will remember everything you have taught me and keep you in my memories. Your secrets are well protected, as is the best treasure.
- Alright my dear son, we are arriving. As you can see you are now more than capable.
* You were right daddy, I am delighted and proud to be alongside you again...
This was the conversation between father and son along the way and here lies the record of their conversations and their memories..
The son never walked with his father again but he would return to the same place where they had their conversation. Here lies the stone where he wrote the name of his father and the promise he fulfilled. |
