The Whyalla Levee cache series follows the line of a Levee bank that protects the western edge of Whyalla from surface run-off in the event of a major rain event.
Recreational vehicles have made a bit of a mess of this area. If you are here in the early morning, you may see some kangaroos that have a belly full of Stuart High School oval grass! If you don’t see the roos, you’ll see their tracks across the top of the levee.
