Geocache Description:

Sunday CITO at Coxhoe Hall Wood

26th April 2015 - 10.00 - 12.00

We have very few CITOs around here, so on International CITO Weekend we have organised two in Durham. This one on the Sunday, and the other on the Saturday in Quarry Wood GC5Q5GF so everyone has the chance to attend at least one or hopefully both.

Anyone attending and logging a CITO event during this weekend will receive a nice shiny electronic souvenir to display on their profile.

We will be kicking off at 10am and by 1pm will have hopefully collected lots of rubbish. Everyone is welcome to join in, including small Cachers and Geohounds. You are not obliged to stay for the full time, just stay as long as you can spare to tidy up the countryside, our playground, a little.

Litter picks/gloves/black sacks will all be provided courtesy of Durham County Council Rangers. There is suitable parking close by marked as a waypoint. If you choose to park elsewhere, please don't block anyone's drive, park sensibly and watch out for young Cachers and Geohounds near the road.

If you haven't cached much round this area there is plenty to find. Coxhoe is pretty much saturated with caches, some being in the two woods themselves we are cleaning up. Hope to see you there.
