Geocache Description:

This park is one of the "jewels" of the SC State Park system. It encompasses 2500 acres of the best preserved beach on the Grand Strand. A freshwater lagoon, saltmarsh, maritime forest and 3 miles of beach are outstanding examples of the state's natural coastal environment. Atalaya, the National Landmark home of Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington is also on site and open year round.

This is one of four caches that have been placed here in the park, each with a different icon (Multi, Puzzle,Letterbox, and traditional). That will give those who have to pay the $8./person entrance fee (SC res. over 65 is $5./person) an opportunity to gather 6 different individual icons, as there is already a Virtual and an Earth Cache in the park. We hope you will enjoy this one.

Annual state park passes are available to purchase at the rate of $99.00 for everyone under age 65, whether a resident or not, but if you are a resident and over 65, the pass is only$49.50. This will allow entry for all of the occupants of the vehicle, so if you visit the state parks very often, it is quite a savings.

This is an easy 5 stage multi, all on one trail with the final at the end. Total hike is less than 3 tenths of a mile one way. You will make stops along the way to gather the information needed to fill in the final coordinates. There are NO containers to be found, just answer the questions at each stage. Stage 1 (A=7) Stage 2 (B=9) Stage 3 (C=2) Stage 4 (D=5) Stage 5 (E=4)

After Hurricane Matthew, all of the stops along this Multi-cache have been either destroyed or removed. Because of these issues we have decided to give you the answer for each stage, so you should not have any trouble computing the correct answer.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Congratulations to Skyye 53 for the FTF
