Geocache Description:

The bean, everyone. Perhaps the most versatile of all foods available to humans, beans are an incredible source of carbs (including soluble fiber), protein, and vitamins. Once you solve the coordinates for this tribute cache, the D/T rating should be 1.5/1.5. There's room for small trade items or lots and lots of beans.

I encourage you to do your own research on the humble bean, to identify for yourself its importance to you and your family's diet. For me, the bean provides a superior source of soluble fiber. As I maintain a high intake of soluble fiber and continue to decrease my own fat stores, I am finally bringing my cholesterol to manageable levels. This allows me to avoid medications that I would otherwise have to take for heart health.

So... Hey, look, I downloaded the label from my favorite canned beans. I used it to write up an explanation of what I look for in a superior bean. Without further ado, I present "Everplaid's guide to reviewing canned bean labels."

Well, now at least you know what I look for in my canned beans. I'll be interested to know what you look for. Oh, caches? Well if you think you know where this tribute to beans is, check your answer at GeoChecker.com.

You are looking for a very poorly camoed waterproof travel mug.

Did you know that a humble can of beans was part of the swag in the first geocache? Here are some pages from the archives on the topic, this being the 15th year of geocaching and all... These links have nothing to do with solving the puzzle, honest! They are simply a tribute to beans' foundational role in geocaching swag.

2. The Unoriginal Stash geocache page which describes the plight of the original can of beans in the early months after it was placed in the first cache.
