Geocache Description:

FW02 Spring Grove

Just below the cache there is a very nice ancient horse trough.

From here the Ferndean Way goes through another small woodland to your left but feel free to go through the field as most people do. This is flat because 100 years ago there was a cotton mill on it – the woodland was where its lodge (reservoir) was. Just before the cache you want the upper path – do enjoy the new weir – fish ladder – you may remember picking up a cache here a few years back but the partial bridge that was there then has been removed as part of the work on the weir.
