Laajakallio sijaitsee tien 51, sekä rantaradan pohjoispuolella, kohdassa jossa tie haarautuu kohti etelää Porkkalanniemen suuntaan, sekä kohti pohjoista rantaradan alta. Tämän pohjoiseen vievän Tolsantien länsipuolella sijaitsee vanha maalaistalo suojeltuine ympäristöineen. Laajakallion länsiosa onkin suurelta osin rakennettu tämän tilan vanhoille laidunmaille, joilla vielä 1980-luvulla laidunsi lehmiä. Tolsantien yhtyessä pohjoisessa Vanhaan Rantatiehen, risteyksen länsipuolella avautuu niityt joiden takana olevissa metsiköissä aikoinaan päivystivät Neuvostoliittolaiset tankit, vartioiden rantatien liikennettä, aikana jolloin alue oli vuokrattu Neuvostoliitolle.
Laajakallio is situated on the north side of highway 51 and the coastal railway at a point where the road has an intersection towards south, to Porkkalanniemi and towards north, going under the railways, to Tolsantie. On west side of this north bound road (Tolsantie) is an old manor with protected lands around it. The west side of Laajakallio is mainly built on the pasture of this manor. Still in the1980's you could see a herd of cows there. Going north along the Tolsantie, you will reach Vanha Rantatie. Looking east at that point you can see meadows below you. The forests behind them once hided the USSR tanks that guarded the traffic on the Vanha Rantatie. This was at the time when this area was rented (by force) to USSR.
