Peak of the lonnen Traditional Cache

No 4 Peak of the lonnen is situated overlooking the stunning view of Wooler. There is an old wagon trailer nearby this cache but it is not in it. It is a medium snapped tight box within a camouflage bag. This cache is on a public footpath & is on a farm track which is easily walked or cycled, but no access for cars. 

No 4 is at the peak of this trail, hence " Peak of the lonnen" , pause for a moment & admire the beautiful views overlooking Wooler & beyond. This local walk is great for all walkers & only takes approx an hour, depending on the skill of the cacher. This area is at the foot of Humbleton Hill which held the famous bloody battle of Hombleton in 1402, with the Scots & the English. There were many a skirmish on this land & one large army of estimated 10,000 strong noble men fought the famoush well documented battle of Hombleton.  I have enjoyed placing these 5 caches on this great trail & hope it pleases many walkers/cachers alike.
