Hidden near the site of where Hegne Town Hall was in Hegne township, Norman County, Minnesota.
I like hiding geocaches in rural areas to raise awareness of Township halls and old school houses. As with many other buildings like this township hall, it was in use as a voting location for the residents of the township and as a meeting place for township business and community groups until sometime in 2015 when the building was removed. This geocache is located along Highway 200, a few miles west of Ada, Minnesota. You can park in the driveway and walk a short distance to the geocache's hiding place. There is no building here anymore but it is a nice park now with a picnic table and trees and flowers. You are welcome to walk over and check it out.
