On the afternoon that I hid this cache, a great blue heron was standing in the creek not far from the path. The sun was shining on it, and it almost glowed. It was so majestic, and I just stayed and watched it for awhile. This is also a good place to see ducks and a variety of songbirds. Hope you enjoy it. The cache container is not big enough for a pen or pencil, so you will want to bring your own.
