Geocache Description:

MatchDayTravel 001 - Kevin Keegan is a micro cache placed at the beginning of my journey to St James Park, Newcastle. This is a high muggle area!

The idea for a MatchDayTravel Series came when I decided I was bored with driving to and from Newcastle to watch my beloved Newcastle Utd. I wasn't just bored of the football but the whole match day experience. I decided to start taking the train. I also love the SideTracked series and decided to start my own MatchDayTravel Series. There will be more caches coming soon along my journey.

Kevin Keegan has been chosen as the name of the first cache as he made me fall in love with Newcastle Utd and 'The Entertainers'. The style of football that he played was second to none and we were nearly awarded with the Premiership title. His love for Newcastle was obvious on and off the pitch!
