During Soviet era, Saaremaa was closed border zone, outsiders could enter only with special permits. There were many small military bases dotting coastline but also in several places inland. Tagaranna base is one of few where most buildings are still intact 25 years after they were abandoned and looted by leaving army.
To find the cache, You have to find six places in the central part of base. In each of these places You will find a number. If these numbers are combined in the given order, You get distance and direction from zero to cache. Places You must find are:
1. Small pool
2. Dog building
3. Tube-shaped shelter
4. Highest spot
5. Cinema technicians room
6. Greenhouse

Viktor Kingissepa nimeline 11. Piirivalvesalga 7. kordon Tagarannas on Saaremaa arvukatest nõukogudeaegsetest militaarrajatistest üks paremini säilinuid. Kuigi lahkujate ja ehk ka hilisemate uudistajate poolt rüüstatud, on enamik hooneid katuse all ja nende esialgne funktsioon selgelt äratuntav.
Selle aarde leidmiseks ongi vaja leida kuus kohta kordoni kesksest linnakust. Nendest kuuest kohast leiab igaühest ühe numbri, mis siin antud järjekorras kokku panduna annavad kauguse ja asimuudi nullist kuni aardeni. Otsitavad kohad on:

4. Kõrgeim koht
5. Kinomehhaaniku ruum
