Geocache Description:

A view of a beautiful local church stained glass window created and maintained by the St. Mark's youth program.

This cache was created in cooporation with the St. Mark's UMC youth program as a way to introduce a new generation to the fun of geocaching as well as to teach them about the value of maintaining a cache. It is hoped to be one of many caches created and maintained by this group to highlight local community landmarks. To begin this journey, the St. Mark's Youth chose to highlight a location that they consider to be significant to the area, the stained glass window of St. Mark.

This cache is placed in a location that gives you an outside view of the window just within the parking lot beside the church. Street parking is available and preferred as weekends make the spaces hard to find on location. The area is frequently traversed by muggles so stealth is required to retrieve it. If the interest strikes you, feel free to step into the office and ask if you can step inside the church to take a picture of the window from the inside (I include a picture in this post to show those who do not visit what it looks like, but it does not do the window justice). If you do stop in see if you can spot St. Mark in the window, his full figure has been hidden into the window for the sharpest eyes to see.
