Geocache Description:

This cache replaces the Prater's Mill History Lesson that I archived. 

This is an easy 3 stage puzzle cache where you gather information at the location to open at combination lock at the final stage. The whole thing should take no more than about 15 minutes.

 


Open from dawn to dusk 7 days a week. No night caching.

Good cache for kids, can bring your dog, if on a leash. Pretty spot for pictures, so bring

your camera and maybe even a picnic lunch and a fishing pole and stay a while.

Go to the location and find the answer to this question.

Question 1:  When was Prater's Mill built?

The last # is the first digit of the combination.

Stage 2: coordinates N 34* 53.697 W 084* 55.119

Go to the location and find the answer the following 2 questions.

Question 2: What is the # of the train car?

The first # is the second digit of the combination.

Question 3:  How many people were residing at the mill at the turn of the century (1900)?

The first # is the third digit of the combination.

Now go to Stage 3: coordinates N 34* 53.693 W 084* 55.221 open the lock and sign the logbook.
