Geocache Description:

Orris Falls Conservation Area is a 171-acre preserve in a rich area of vernal pools and wetlands, ledges and glacial erratic in the Tatnic region of So. Berwick. An old colonial road that existed long ago is now a trail with side excursions to the 90-ft. gorge of Orris Falls, the Big Bump, Balancing Rock, and overlooks with views of Mt. Agamenticus. Stone foundations on the site were the home and barn of Orris and Mercy Littlefield, who lived there in the late 1800s.

Teams may want to spot a vehicle at each end of the trail, and make the hike from Thurrell Rd to Emery’s Bridge Rd. The main trail is gentle, wide and bike friendly in most places, except that in spring portions of the trail can be very wet. You are looking for a camo'd pill bottle that is hidden in plain sight a little over 100 feet off the trail.

Leashed pets are permitted. Bug spray is a must during spring and summer!

It would be much appreciated if you do not copy and paste the same log for your day of caching.

As always, when Geocaching, have fun, be safe and leave no trace.

Congratulations to Zoemeister and Rhipster for FTF!
