Geocache Description:

This Flash Mob is being held to honour the memory of Fred Richards, a man of Wessex, a keen walker and avid geocacher. Fred cached as Wessex Warrior and achieved the admirable total of 2168 finds between August 2010 and January 2015. His friendly smile and amiable nature will be missed by his geocaching friends around Andover and further afield.

Meet at the published coordinates at 18:00 on Sunday 19th April for thirty minutes to remember Fred and sign the logbook (if you wish, it's not compulsory) to gain that all important smiley for your geocaching map. The flash mob will end at 18:30 precisely.

Whilst the flash mob is taking place a new geocache named after Fred and hidden in his memory should be published. The geozone is approximately a one mile walk along the Test Way from the flash mob location, mainly uphill, so be warned. It would be a fitting tribute to the memory of Wessex Warrior if those who are willing and able went to make a joint "First to Find".
