C. L. ‘Lafe’ Nash was photographed in 1900 at his home with three daughters and a grandson. The structure stood across the street from this location on the site of the distribution warehouse. The surrounding farm was part of land inherited from Nash’s father, T. J. Nash, who had settled here in 1854.
