This Easter egg hunt is much easier, none of the eggs have been hidden, in fact they are all together in the same place. The only thing is that you must find the REAL log which is hidden in only one of the eggs.
The cache is located just off a walking track which can be accessed from a number of points. I have included one access point as a waypoint and you can park your car here and walk the 200 meters to the cache site.
The cache is a 10 L bucket and as this may be a time consuming exercise, the cache has been placed here with permission in order to give enough privacy to find and sign the REAL log. As the bridge was recently washed downstream, there is no longer a bridge in place. You can either jump the ditch (it's quite wide so think carefully before doing this!) or you can walk south about 20 meters to where there is another bridge (it's a pipe) which you can cross and walk back to the cache along the edge of the stream. If you are lucky the chickens will join you! The cache is just inside the fence line, so go through the gate.
The owners and families of the two nearby properties are all geocachers, so there is no threat from muggles. The cache is well hidden from their view so there is no need to worry!
The eggs themselves are a little delicate so please be gentle with them and ensure their contents are carefully replaced as you found them.
There are two ice-cream containers in the bucket so you have something to place the eggs into once you've checked their contents.
Let me know in your log how many eggs it took before you found the REAL log.
Happy Hunting
