Geocache Description:

Hawthorn is vibrant and affluent suburb of Melbourne, and considered by some as one of Melbourne's surviving bastions of post Gold Rush expansion. With high concentration of office buildings, private residences as well as Swinburne University there is plenty of activity every day of the week.

Of course, this suburb gives its name to the Hawthorn AFL football team, though their matches haven’t been played at Glenferrie oval since 1973. The team is known as the Hawks, and you might need some of the bird of prey’s keen vision to spot this cache.

This cache is EXTREMELY exposed during office hours, so is best attempted outside of 0800-1800 Mon-Fri.

Please take care to place back as inconspicuously as possible.
