Spirit Quest - Mountain View Cemetery Traditional Cache

Cache should be a easy find, especially with the use of the hint. As with any cemetery cache please be respectful of the grounds and any possible visitors or mourners that might not understand what we are doing. Please note that there is a reference point for the cemetery entrance, details are below.

Accessing the cache once in the cemetery and parked:  updated 3-22-21, 5 years and things are changing.  The once well defined path (there is a waypoint for it) is still there but finding where it starts has gotten harder as the shrubbs have gotten so much bigger, but it's still there and once you take a step into the shrubs at the right spot you'll see the path.  Black berries are encroaching GZ now, but as of my visit on 3-22-21 it's still accessible, if you are there and feel you can trim a few of the blackberries back from around the cache site please feel free to do so, but do NOT even think about trimming the cemeteries shrubs.  Thanks.

The Mountain View Cemetery began in 1915 and the funeral home added in 1942. Today there are over 100,000 internments and the cemetery covers 110 acres of land

the cache is located in the unimproved area near the storm water retention pond area. The only way you should access this cache is by driving though the cemetery and parking in the nearby gravel parking lot. Please note that there is only two entrances to the cemetery, and they are both off of Steilcoom blvd. The best entrance that will take you to the cache the quickest is located at N 47 10.595 W 122 29.494, from the entrance you should be able to follow your GPS to the cache. Parking is available in the nearby gravel lot.

The Posted hours at the cemetery are until 8:30PM or dusk whichever is earlier. While you are here please take your time and look around, and enjoy all of the history here, but remember to be respectful, since the cemetery is quite active and large it is likely that there could be mourners or other visitors that might not understand what we are doing. The cache is located in the unimproved area by the storm water retention area. You will not be visible from the cemetery while you are on your search, you are looking for a small lock n lock container, the hint should lead you right to it. There is no need to disturb any graves or monuments.
