It is also known as Pierson Cemetery. This is a tiny family plot located in NE quarter of sec 35 in a field near the Bell home. 2 stones were reported by the WPA and still stand. George – d 1873, Lora - d 1872 (4 years), and Lucy - d 1872 (2 yrs.)
Cemetery is not accessible, but if you look about .13 across the field east and you will see approximately where the stones sit.
While placing caches in Clarke County we encountered many dead end roads and lots of them that are level B roads – this means there is NO gravel on them – they are mud after it rains. If you get stuck, the farmers will not pull you out – you will have to call a tow truck. Please be aware of this and use caution when hunting these caches.
