‘The 3 billy goats gruff’ was originally a Norwegian folktale before being transformed into to common children’s story we now hear.
It featured 3 billy goats, small goat, middle goat and big goat each wanting to cross the river to get fat for the winter, the only way over the river is by a bridge guarded by a nasty troll who would eat them if they crossed, the small goats excuse is that he be too small to be eaten and wouldn’t make a hearty meal, so the troll lets him over, the middle goats excuse is that soon there be a larger goat to cross, bigger and fatter then him, so again the troll lets him over, when the larger goat shows up, he has more power and strength than the smaller goats so has the ability to throw the troll into the river with his big, strong horns, he does this and therefore all 3 goats are safe to get fat for the winter.
Our cache here is similar, it’s located under a bridge (don’t try to go on the top, it’s a very busy road) just off a footpath/cycle way.
It’s an easy find, though you will need a pen and tweezers to get the log out (please don’t try and prise it out with sticks and pens etc.)
Good luck
