This cache is hidden near the Gavins Point Nature Trail within Lewis and Clark Recreation Area. This cache is meant to be a "starter" for further caches down the trail. Watch out for "jabby" sticks and under brush as you go to GZ. A SD State Park sticker is required for entry and parking within the state park areas.
I have attempted to avoid dangerous areas and caches are normally located within a few yards of the trail or road, but be cautious as there can be ticks, poison ivy, stickers, and other hazards in the area. This cache is placed with permission of the South Dakota GF&P. Enjoy the caching experience.
