Did you know that there is a waterski club who practices in the Trinity River? The Metroplex Ski Club began its operation near this location in 1999 and currently practice just downstream near downtown Fort Worth. Their site on the Trinity River is long enough to provide a slalom course and separate areas for open skiing/wakeboarding. Next time you’re out in that area keep your eyes peeled, you might be able to convince them to do a trick!
This geocache is a part of the TRWD Trinity Trails Geocaching Adventure which takes you on a journey throughout the entire trail system to discover hidden gems, historically significant locations and some of the most popular spots along the trails. It’s perfect for families, geocaching newbies and seasoned “cachers” alike.
