A small and fairly easy cache located within Brooklands Pleasure Park, in a similar location to one my first ever geocache finds.
Ssshh, It's A Secret #1 - Lancing (GC1REFE) was previously located at this very location and was my 3rd ever geocache find on my very first days geocaching. The aim of this geocache was to create a disney theme and caches of this theme were placed over 4 continents after a group of people discussed the idea on a forum about Disney. Sadly a couple of years ago this cache went missing, so I have now decided to put another geocache in a similar place.
The cache is located in the field that backs onto the water treatment plant next to Brooklands. Parking is probably best down St Pauls Avenue which is free, although there is a car park at Brooklands Pleasure Park itself, although a charge applies. Toilets and refreshments are also available in the park, which also includes attractions such as a train ride, paddling pool, go kart track, and golf course.
You are looking for a 900ml click lock container containing a log book and a few trackables when placing. The aim is keep this container topped up with trackables at all times so trackables can be easily moved on. When placing this area had been recently cleared of many things stingy and prickly, but in the summer months this may return so be careful. This area is also very popular with dog walkers, so when found please cover well. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN.
