Deze cache is neergelegd ter ere van het Hoornse Cache Event 2016.

This cache is placed in honor of the Hoorns Cache Event 2016.


De VOC producten :


NL :
De Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie was het grootste handelsbedrijf ter wereld. In de zeventiende eeuw was de VOC oppermachtig en dreef handel met grote delen van Azië. De VOC was naast een handelsorganisatie ook een militaire macht, geweld werd niet geschuwd om belangen te verdedigen of om monopolies af te dwingen. Door monopolies op nootmuskaat, foelie, kaneel en kruidnagel maakte de VOC grote winsten. Eind achtiende eeuw ging het mis en hield de VOC op te bestaan.

Zoek bij deze producten de juiste omschrijving en als u het goed heeft gedaan vindt u de cache.

A : een warm en heel aromatische karakter, met een vleugje kruidnagel en een diepe, bitterzoete, houtachtige smaak.

B : een dominante, zeer kruidige, doordringende, pikante smaak.

C : bevat cafeïne, theanine en flouride

D : warm, zoethoutachtig met lichte toetsen van citrus.

E : kan ook zorgen voor een lekker aroma aan gerechten.

F : wordt gemaakt van de ontvelde, gemalen, gedroogde, en geroosterde zaden.

The goods of the VOC :
The VOC (East India Company) was the largest trading company in the world. In the seventeenth century the VOC was supreme and traded with large parts of Asia. The VOC was a trade organization alongside a military power. Violence was not avoided to defend interests or to enforce monopolies. By monopolies on nutmeg, mace, cinnamon and clove made the VOC big profits. At the end of the eighteenth century things went wrong and the East India Company ceased to exist.

The cache :
Below are descriptions of some products which were brought to the Netherlands by the VOC. Using TWITTER, you can start looking for the right goods. Link these products at the correct description and if you do it right you will find the cache.

A : a warm and aromatic character, with a hint of clove and a deep, bittersweet, woody taste.

B : a dominant, very herbal, pungent, spicy flavor.

C : contains caffeine, theanine and fluoride.

D : warm, like licorice with a hint of citrus.

E : can also provide a nice flavor to dishes.

F : is made from the peeled, crushed, dried, and roasted seeds.
