Geocache Description:

This series of caches are placed along the Eglish Heritage Trail and are designed to highlight the history of the area and the wonderful work of the Eglish Historical Society who are responsible for the historical information included below.

4 Dalton's Walk is named after a Captain Dalton who commanded the local Volunteer barracks in the late l8th Century. The cache is close to Dalton’s Walk and if any geocachers can pin point the precise location please log it and I’ll update the information.

The cache is a bison hidden from view and is just off the road. Parking is not far from the cache but it is on a junction. Take care.
