Geocache Description:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the coordinates above. I'm sure they would take you to a very nice location where you could enjoy God's creation. However, if you want to find this cache, I don't recommend going there; I recommend solving the puzzle instead.

Note: This cache is being published in conjunction with GC5KTF5, The Miami Valley Caching Conundrum #12, hosted by counselortroi and VPPLAYER.

This month's topic is Futoshiki puzzles. These puzzles use a square matrix, typically 4x4 up to 9x9. Each square in the matrix contains a number (1 .. gridsize) ; similar to Sudoku, each number (1 .. gridsize) will appear exactly once in each row and column (i.e., it is a Latin Square). Some puzzles will have a few of the numbers already identified in the matrix. To give hints regarding which numbers belong in each square, the grid shows the less_than (<) or greater_than (>) relationship between some adjacent squares. For example, the square to the left of the square containing 3 must be larger than 3; i.e. it must be between 4 and 9, inclusive.

The cache can be found at N39 46.ABC W084 05.DEF. In computing the sums below, note that if the
sum is >= 10, then subtract 10 to get the correct digit.

A = G + H
B = J + K
C = L + M
D = N + O
E = P + Q
F = R + S

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
