This series of caches are placed along the Eglish Heritage Trail and are designed to highlight the history of the area and the wonderful work of the Eglish Historical Society who are responsible for the historical information included below.
40 Carrowcolman: Dr. Thomas Reid (1791 -1825) mentioned in his writing that there was a hamlet here in the early 1820s.
The cache is located in the area and is a small drill bit box. parking is close by but not on the junction.
