Geocache Description:

One in a series along this beautiful Tollie Path walk from Poolewe to Slattadale (or visa versa!) with some stunning scenery. Often quite boggy in parts, particularly towards the Slattadale end, so be prepared with good waterproofing, especially footwear. A walking stick may be helpful. Great walk for dogs too!

This is a superb walk on a path that is well metalled in parts but does pass over more difficult terrain with flowing water, weather depending! You can reach this cache from either end of the walk - good parking at both the Poolewe and Slattadale end. The total length of the path is 5 miles and the cache is about halfway along the path and is hidden off the path - it will need an uphill climb of about 300 metres across sloping boggy land to reach. But the views along the glen and down to Loch Maree are truly stunning! Well worth the walk, climb and search! Left TB to be moved on. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OLD MAN OF STOER FOR BEING THE FTF - KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY!!!
