Geocache Description:

Here is a cache to jostle your geosenses !!
There used to be a cache very close to here by Sunsetmeadowlark & Momsplace.
It was called "DNF Mostly?"

It had a difficulty rating of 5 and a terrain rating of 2.5.
I looked for "DNF Mostly?" many many times.
I never did find it !!
So for me, it certainly was DNF Mostly !!

A new access road had been cut quite close to their coordinates of N 48° 31.442 W 114° 33.371.
And their cache may have gotten torn up in the road building project.

Looking through the logs for "DNF Mostly?" shows that it was certainly a very skillfully camoed cache with 22 DNFs and only 21 Finds !!
I didn't have any additional hints . . . . . so I can only dream at what that camo may have been !!

At times the cache was actually found to be missing.
I had looked during those times and couldn't find it then.

It was replaced with a different container.
I looked again, and couldn't find it.

Then the container was changed to something different again !!
I looked again and still couldn't find it.

Then the container seemed to have disappeared again.
I looked during that time and couldn't find it.

I never did give up though . . . . . . . . . . . . . until . . . . sadly it was archived.

So, this new cache was given the name "DNF Ghostly?" in honor of their skillfully hidden cache.
It has a slightly lower difficulty and terrain rating to make it a bit easier for travelers that are on a short time schedule.

I had changed the name of this cache to "DNF Ghostly?" in my "To be found" list because it seemed to appear then disappear then reappear and change form at random.      
Oh Welll  .. .. .. .. .. such is the game of geo-caching, they can't all be easy !!     



For some cachers, this could be a quick find.
For others. it could be a little harder.

Gps signals can be a bit "Ghostly" around this site.
If you cannot find it . . . . . . please resort to the hint.

No need to tear anything up.
Cache is clearly visible from many angles.
