Some of this park was property originally owned by Bob Cross. Bob Cross was the oldest Benton County resident when he died at 101 years old in 1966. He was believed to be the last survivor of the cyclone that struck Sauk Rapids on April 14, 1886, killing 44 people in Sauk Rapids and causing millions of dollars in damage.
Aargh! As far as I know, Bob Cross had nothing to do with pirates or treasure boxes; I just wanted to hide a treasure in this nice park.
To unlock the treasure, solve:
1.) Turn the dial to the RIGHT three times, then stop at: two to the third power -- which is also a number that sounds like the past tense of "eat."
2. ) Turn the dial to the LEFT one full turn passing the first number and stop at: the number of letters in the English alphabet.
3.) Turn the dial RIGHT and stop at: four to the second power -- or two to the fourth power -- or the number of teeth in the top of the average human's mouth, counting wisdom teeth.
